Homegrown | Mint...soothing in every way.
why?
There are books written about mint tea. It's soothing to the stomach, it's aromatic, and is often a lovely green shade. I fell in love with it again while in Germany where I had my first mug of fresh mint tea. Little did I know at the time that we would have a veritable jungle of mint along the side of our house. So much so, that it is necessary for us to hack at it to keep it in order. No problem here, as I can fill quart sized mason jars with the wonderful leaves, pour over hot water, and cozy it all evening with a dish towel wrapped around it to avoid scalding.
notes...
A dash of honey makes it perfect.
