I just had someone ask me "Hey...do you want to go to Venice for the weekend?"
I responded with the ever-eloquent "what?" to which they repeated their question."Do you want to go to Venice for the weekend?" I thought about it...and then responded:
"No...I have a church function I'm going to. Maybe next weekend?" and it was a completely reasonable thing to say.
