the bird and baby

An evening drink at the Inkling's pub, officially called the Eagle and Child. I began the evening a little sad that I couldn't enjoy a cider, but as soon as I got my drink, I was perfectly content. I had a Feniman's Dandelion & Burdock...a glorious mix of dandelion, anise, and ginger.

It smells like bubble gum while in the bottle, like licorice as it foams in your glass, and then a soft yet distinct ginger on your tongue. Could you ask for better? I couldn't. Because of the natural fermentation process, the carbonation is soft and doesn't get in the way of the wonderful flavors jostling for your attention.
