The effort it takes to write out an entire study guide on your own is significant, but well worth it. It takes a lot longer, but it adds significantly to your comprehension because you have to synthesize everything. It also counts as study time. Often, once you've filled out a study guide, you're good for the test and more studying isn't necessary.
