So we had a box of funfetti cake mix in our kitchen. Just sitting around. Strange, as we usually don't get something that sugary. I was getting tired of it being on the counter though so I made cupcakes.
The sprinkle glitter reminds me of snow cones on the last day of kid's club in Warm Springs. Water everywhere, the kids running up the hill and sliding down it on the water slide tarp. Snow cones from the community center. Blue, red, pink, and purple splotches on many of the kids shirts. No one caring because it was so hot and we'd be dry in a matter of minutes anyway.
