They're a very vocal bunch who say what they mean and aren't afraid to have everyone hear them. We American students are generally intimidated by the children.
Just telling it like it is.
But goodness are they adorable. They're very cute. Most are dressed quite stylishly, at least around here in the generally affluent area of Oxfordshire.
Even their spelling mistakes are cute. When trying to write "world," they go phonetic and write down "wuld"...which is of course exactly how they say it.
I'm excited to come back and observe American children after coming to the realization that they really are very different from British children in ways that I never would have guessed.
