College gifting is actually very enjoyable. You have to be creative because of an expected lack of money and resources, but the things you end up with tend to be much more personal and (more usual for me) crafty.
One of the most wonderful things to do before finals is to take a weekend and spend it in quiet. No homework, no studying, no phone, no electronics period. Away. In woods. Quiet. If you have to get someone to force you to do it, that works too.
Learn to cut hair. Super fun. Be aware that a bunch of people will as you to do it. But you know, that is awesome too. Fun late night sessions included.
