Take classes outside of your major.

Get way off campus at least once a week.

Get to know your RD and ARD. Sometimes they have cookies and they were hired for a reason (i.e. they're people to learn from).

Take lots of notes. Period.

Devotions are always more important. I don't care what it is or how bit the assignment is or how great of a percentage of your grade is. Time with the LORD is more important.
