The first day I packed the pinwheel craft in my box, forgetting to tell the team members what I'd done. Unable to find the one that had been planned for that day, she packed yet another craft in her car. I completely forgot about the one I'd packed until I got back that night. I had brought out the craft I was contributing for that day however: painting rocks. The kids enjoyed themselves to no end slapping the paint on and peeling the backs off of foamie stickers so they could put them on foam ship shapes.

The next day the wind was whipping around us, teasing our hair into knots as everyone worked to keep their foam birds from flying their merry way off the table
until we started pinning them down with the
rocks we had painted the day before. And, what do you know, it was the perfect day to make pinwheels...our one windy day.
How great is our God and how He blesses us in such simple ways...even through our mistakes!
